Best gaming laptop Budget: $1500.
Hello, I am in need of a new laptop for college, so it does need to be portable/semi portable. I don't really like Alienware (overrated). I've been looking at Digital Storm, MSI, and Asus laptops. Are these good options or no, and what would you recommend?
In the first place, what kind of gaming will you be doing?
I have never used or seen a Digital Storm laptop, so i can't put persuasion on them. MSI has the GE Apaches (5 lbs, low end laptops) GS Stealths (like 5 lbs, very slim, and great gaming) and GT Dominators (7 lbs, powerhouse laptops) that are good and can come with the nvidia 800 series graphic cards. Asus mostly makes 17.3 inch laptops that can be builky at first if not used to, but are a great company.
I can give specific recommendations once I know what kind of gaming?

I'd say go for an MSI GT60 Dominator-424 with:
Nvidia GTX 870m Graphics
15.6" 1920x1080 display.
You can even add in a Samsung 840 Evo yourself and stay under budget.
Would I have to replace the 1TB. Hard drive or is their another drive slot?
The gt60 dominator 424 supposedly only has 2 2.5" drive areas for either another hard drive or ssd, but nod msata space. Here is a laptop breakdown by Gentech PC -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y3xkxFDCAEs looking inside the laptop starts at about 11 min
