Pc Lagging for one half of a second

I have been having this problem in some games and even in desktop and while browsing. It lags for like half a second like the cursor was stuck on the screen or something (that's what it looks like pretty sure wasnt stuck) only started a week ago....
My specs: I5 4430 3.0ghz
gtx 760 windforce
patriot viper 4x2gb=8gb
seagate barracuda 1TB
Asus B85m-g motherboard
EVGA 500W 80+ bronze
any solutions?

can be dust build up and also overheating problems and hhd failing.

I guess It's dust then because gpu is working perfectly and I use msi afterburner to check temps...doesnt usually go above 67

im not familiar what afterburner does.did you see gpu and cpu temperatures also.

It only show's the gpu temp and I dont think cpu temp would be too high because it's only 9 degrees outside....pretty sure it's the dust coz I have lots of that here...
