My power supply fan is very loud during gaming. It is louder than all my other fans combined. Is there any way to fix this or should just return it and get a refund.

  1. yes, i think you got a defective PSU

your pc run at much lower than 750W, there is no way it reach its peak capacity, so the psu fan should run at normal speed

That unit is VERY high quality. No point to buy a different unit. Probably just a defective fan motor. RMA it to XFX and they will send you a replacement.
  3. I was thinking of getting a refund because I want a modular power supply for better cable management.
  4. Make sure you stick with Antec, XFX, Seasonic, Corsair (not CX, CS, RM)
  5. That is a VERY good unit. Chances are they will not refund it though, only offer an RMA.
