its not the answer im looking for.the adapter good only for short ,very short distance and for read text only,not for watching video cause your loosing quality over adapter.

I got this one on sale at a store near my house for $30. My computer is about 30 feet away and one floor up and I get 4/5 bars on the 5G network, while on 2.4G i get 5/5. Haven't had any issues with movies, games, downloading, etc. It's been running strong for a year with 0 issues or complaints. If you can get it on sale like I did, I'd get it.
