I'm upgrading my current system and I need some help on picking out a good mobo and ram. I've finally decided on the i5-4670k cpu but can't decide between a few boards to pair it with. I've had A LOT of trouble with ram in the past on my Asrock board so I'm hesitant on which ram to buy.
Right now I'm leaning towards an Asus Z87 and Corsair Vengeance or Gskill Ripjaws. Please help!

The Hero is well worth the $200 (was $220 when I picked mine up ;) and well worth that, occasionally it's at the Egg as low as $180, it's also the highest selling and has the best rating from users at the Egg of the higher selling 1150 mobos. In the $100 to $150 range I'd suggest the Asus Z87-A, good solid mobo, OCs well, handles DRAM very well, does SLI and XFire well, good all around mobo

No budget listed, so I'll start with my favorites, the Asus Hero mobo, and pair it with GSkill Trident DRAM in 1866 or better in the amount you want/need....I built 20 Haswell rigs for clients on assorted mobos before deciding on the Hero for my own build (in sig)

Thanks for the suggestions! Do you think the Hero is worth the $200? What would you recommend in the $100-$150 range?
I'm new to the forums so bare with me as I learn how to post/respond :)
