I would have to say that that is some pretty good laptop specs. :)

For a laptop that is a decent deal. You could build a desktop computer 2x as powerful for the same or less money, but of course a laptop will be different.

I would personally stick with ASUS ROG or MSI for a gaming laptop for best quality and customer support. If ibuypower laptops are anything like their desktops, I would stay away.

Those kinds of things usually do mean big bucks. I have heard nothing negative about iBuyPower, unlike CyberPower. That is actually a pretty good price with what it has in it.

anyone have an opinion/experience with this?
MSI G Series GT70 2OD-019US 17.3-Inch Laptop (Black)
specs: Intel Core i7-4700MQ Processor (3.2 - 3.4 GHz, 6M Cache)
24 GB DDR3 1600 MHz RAM
1 TB 5400 rpm Hard Drive, 256 GB Solid-State Drive
NVIDIA Geforce GTX780M
thanks again

Your firsat choice and the Nvidisa choices were better. They both had 7200 RPM Hdd and this one a 5400 RPM Hdd which is slower. Granted you will booting from the SSD, but you stil want it as fast as you can get it and that ain't it.
