Hey everyone,
I recently bought parts for my first build and am now concerned my psu isn't big enough. Im running an ASUS Z87 Pro with 16GB of ram and an intel 4770k along with a Gigabyte Windforce GTX 770 OC with 2GB of memory on a 750 Watt Seasonic X power supply. I know the Gigabyte website said the card needs 600 watts of power. Is a total of 750 watts enough?

Solution
You have way more than enough. Manufactures assume you have the worst possible power supply (which cannot even get near the wattage they say they can). You have one of the best PSU's out there! Also, read video card bench marks carefully; power draw is usally reported for the whole system, not the card itself.

Max system draw with a i7-X CPU and the 770 at max core voltage was below 400 watts: http://www.anandtech.com/show/6994/nvidia-geforce-gtx-770-review/16. You're good to go and can easily run another 770 in there!

hahaha no problem! Remember that no matter how lazy/ tired you are, turn off the PC before removing screws or something. Lost a PC by dropping a screw on the mobo because I was too lazy to reboot.
