need a budget laptop

I need to buy a new laptop but don't know which one to purchase.

My budget is around $350. I'm looking for good battery life, 14"-16" screen, and a fine cpu.

I will mainly use it for school work, youtube, music, multitasking and pictures.

Please provide links when recommending me on my buy.

Thanks for the assistance and advice. The chromebooks are okay, the only downside is the operating system and no cd rom, in my opinion.
