I recently built my first computer 2 month ago and havent had any problems until this weekend. I mainly use my computer to play games and surf the internet and sometimes a little video converting. This weekend when converting videos i would get random BSD. So far ive taken my heatsink off and applied new thermo paste, which i got artic silver 5, and reinstalled the heatsink which is a Hyper Evo 212 with 2 COUGAR CF-V12HB in a push pull. The highest temps i get under load is 70C. I also ran memtest86 over night to make sure i had no RAM issues.

What i get after the computer restarts is the following:

Thanks guys for the suggestion. I checked Asus for BIO updates and apparently there was one a newer update than the one i updated to. So I'm gonna see how it runs ons the updated BIOs

just curious, what software were you using to do the video converting? and have you allocated specific cores to the process or allow the system to use all available cores? it might be a known problem with the software causing the error, or possibly a faulty core in the cpu that is causing the BSOD as video converting tends to be very cpu intensive

if you want to check if it could be faulty cores in your cpu, open your video converter and then open Task Manager, click on processes, locate the process associated with your video converter and right click it, then click on Process Affinity, this will allow you to specify which cores you want to allocate to that process, if it is a faulty core, you should be able to work it out pretty quick by allocating 1 core at a time and testing for the problem.
