I have a windows file share for my "Media" directory. Inside are these folders:
Backups
Personal
Books
Games
Movies
Music
Software
TV shows
Using the "PublicUser" local user account (no AD) I can connect to the share.
What I am trying to do is make it so all my computers can connect with the PublicUser (like they are now) but have it so it pops up with a credentials prompt when I try to access the Personal folder (and login using a different user account). I have personal file in the personal folder that I don't want others to see.
I have changed the permissions but it gives me an access denied message and does not give me a credentials prompt. I think this is because I am already connected as the PublicUser, which does not have access.
