New 1500$-1600$ gaming/rendering/school pc

the FX is really great... but if you know you will be doing long renders, and you can afford an i7 4770k in your budget, you should go intel. it performs just as good as the FX 8350 for renders, but also has better single core performance. The FX 8350 would be what i recommend to a budget modeler and renderer, or someone just starting out and learning possibly.

Well, first thing: Don't run two different types of memory, and the case should have good enough fans stock that you don't need to buy a bunch right off the bat, but instead can add your own later. I'll work on a build real quick for you.

Okay, so here's a couple builds for you.
Here's with an i7-4770k: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/3rrpF -$1,709
Here's with an i5-4670k: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/3rrue - $1,611

I added the i5 in case you definitely need to be at $1,600, and you can get there with the i7 as well if you remove some of the peripherals but I left them in case you really need the keyboard/mouse and headset. The Intel processors will have much better single core performance as Beezy said, and will be better for rendering, etc. For gaming you really don't need more than the i5, but since you're also wanting to do rendering, the i7 will come in handy. As far as running all games on max, well the GTX 770 will run /most/ games at max, but it won't run all of them. For example with mine I can run Assassin's Creed 4 on max, but it won't be at 60 fps+, but usually in the high 20s-30s, however, with this budget it's hard to get a better card, as the next best card is closer to $600 instead of $350. This build will be pretty solid for most anything you can throw at it, and will handle rendering like a champ.

The water cooling is a very easy to install all-in-one kit that I definitely recommend for the Haswell series processors as they're known to put out a lot of heat, but that cooler will cool it off no problem. I'm running a very similar set up myself right now and my processor rarely hits 60 degrees under a load, and is usually just under 30 degrees idle. Here's a very good video on how to install that particular kit here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JclCHOx0ARc

Edit: Just to clarify, it's not a custom loop, so no maintenance or anything required, just plug and play :)

Okay, so since you have a budget of $2k now, you have a couple more options. First option, get two monitors, leave out the mouse/keyboard/headset for now, and with a better all-in-one water cooling kit, and arguably the best gaming GPU available right now, you can get to $2,037. Again, that's with 2 monitors, a better water cooling kit, a much better GPU, but no peripherals. That build is here http://pcpartpicker.com/p/3rrU2 - $2,037 This is with a GTX 780 Ti, which will absolutely demolish any game you throw at it.

However, if you must have the peripherals, to stay at $2k you have to sacrifice the GPU again, and stick with the regular 780, which is still no slouch by any means. http://pcpartpicker.com/p/3rrVK - $2,011

The third option is to go all out, get both monitors, better water cooling kit, better GPU, all peripherals, etc. http://pcpartpicker.com/p/3rrTl - $2,221

Sorry for late response, took a few minutes to get through those builds. :)
