With the next build am i assuming that you want to overclock some later on and you need windows, like the other build,

you could change the o.s. to the next to save money,
http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/part/microsoft-os-fqc04649

With no overclocking and a better gpu would it look like this,

for just gaming the better option.

Solution

+1, why not a CM Hyper 212 EVO though?

The last option is maybe the best option that you propose , that gpu is gonna run most of the games at high settings
But the mobo has 4 ram slots which means you have to use all four to get the max performance out of it . I choosed a 2 ram slots one , which is cheaper , too .
I also changed the proccessor to an i5-4670k , and added the CM Hyper 212 EVO as it might be usefull if you overclock later
This choice will last you quite a long time .

And if you have £100 more , you can go with a r9 290

You can't play every single game at the highest settings with a 700$ budget :p ( at least not at a playable FPS )

You can go with an AMD processor and get better ram and a good video card
I personally would wait and get maybe 100 more bucks , and i'm not saying that your build was bad either , just incase .

That's the PC i'm gonna get .
It costs about 730€ so that's allright to me ( at least it's better than a pre-built pc from HP , Dell or other companies )
