Hello everyone, I hope I am posting this in the correct area.. I am having this weird problem when I start/stop a video on HBO Go. I have a link to my youtube channel showing this issue happening, when I click play the screen flashes a weird color then goes back to normal, the video plays fine until I stop, then everything turns to that weird color and will not go away until after I restart the computer. I have a feeling its my graphics card can I get any verification? Also I am running:

OS: Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit
CPU: AMD Phenom II X4 965 Processor
RAM: 16GB RAM
GPU: ATI Radeon 5830 HD

I have tried it on both Internet Explorer and Google Chrome, but no luck on either. I have never had any other problems with video's, either on websites or saved to my computer. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Yes, it is the only thing that does it. But seeing that it does it on both browsers makes me kind of curious, do you think it could be java related? I don't know where to start...

Well if it was Java or Flash etc. related it would happen on YouTube, Hulu, etc. Most video streaming. This might be beyond me, unfortunately. First thing I would think of would be drivers/compatibility issues, something corrupted, etc. It /might/ be a video card failing, but I don't think they usually do that, they usually start throwing artifacts on screen, etc.

Yea I was hoping I don't have to go through the mess with drivers lol.. I do have a spare monitor laying around, I was thinking about that too, but the only thing that is making me curious about it is, when I restart the computer, my monitor does not power off, it just blinks or refreshes. But I did go into my graphics settings when that weird color appeared and enabled/disabled GPU scaling, it flashed then went back to normal colors and stayed that way through multiple video trials on HBO Go. Unfortunately it still doesn't completely fix the problem because whenever I restart the computer I have to do it all over again. I will try to get some time to check the monitor tomorrow, but no promises.. I gotta find it first :p

But why only on that website? I have never seen it before until I started going to HBO Go

I'm not really sure, honestly. That is kinda weird, but if it was just the website I would think it would go away once you closed the browser. Might just be something the particular website was doing to color correction or something, I dunno. I'm just kinda grasping at straws here, never seen anything like that.
