Windows 7 x64 vs Windows 8 or 8.1 x64

Hey guyzzz.... I've seen many reviews on the net and also studied about both these OS's.... so I wanted to ask that which OS should I prefer for gaming intensive games like BF4, crysis 3, assassins creed 4 etc., I currently have a zotac geforce gtx 770 amp edition (stock) + i7 3770k + 16gb kingston hyperx 1600mhz ram......

The performance differences are small; Get which ever you like using more.

but which would give smooth gameplay and slightly better fps bcoz the win 8 x64 has directx 11.1 capability....whats ur opinion?

Both will give you smooth gameplay. I personally prefer 7 just because I like the way it looks and works.

For me the FPS increase was pretty good. From windows 7 64-bit in BF4 was 75FPS AVG going to windows 8 increased to 95 AVG On Ultra with all filters cranked up.
