no i had to trim the fan itself , i placed the old case fan on it, marked the shape and cut off the excess with an angle grinder and thin cutting disc , a hacksaw will do same job
front and top... correct me if im wrong but when I connect those screws and try to aligned the holes of the fans.. some holes doesn't fit.. and when i put some 2 200mm fans at top it fitted well but the cover doesn't fit

yes m8 , but nothing major just mark them with a permanent marker where the edges overlap , be sure to line up the mounting holes and you will be fine to cut off the excess
