fail nvidia driver update, missing display adaptor

Hi, I have tried installing the 335.23 nvidia driver update for my nvidia gt 530 many times and it always fails. I have tried DDU, tried installing manually via Device Manager however the display adaptor tab was missing, and instead I suspect that my nvidia gt 530 graphic card is being listed as an "unknown device" under the "other devices" tab. Tried to install driver update but was got an error that display access denied.

Try having a clean installation by removing the previous driver .
You can have system restore too to revert any hardware changes .

Hi thanks for your reply! The clean installation was what gave me the problems. It successfully removed my old drivers, and then installation failed from that pt onwards. Also, I tried to install via windows update, but windows update wont let me install anything, giving me the error code 80070005. I dont even have the basic VGA Driver. I have tried cleaning my registry, running subinacl.msi , renaming the software distributtor folder to see if it could fix windows update, basically any solutions I can find on the internet, but nothing works. I have also tried reinserting my graphics card in the cpu. I tried to do system restore, but it only doesnt have restore points back when the everything was still okay.

Do you have the cd of the graphic driver you bought? Try install using the cd

Have the Exact same problem and tried the same things you did I have the ft 520. Halfway through instalation it stopped. I was just about to remove and reinstall card tomorrow. Please let me know if you find a solution

i have been having this problem for a long time. What honestly works for me is to just keep doing it. It eventually installs for me after 5+ tries.

Fixed the problem by starting in safe mode the reinstalling motherboard drivers. Stayed in safe mode and installed the graphics drivers. Worked fine after that.Hope this helps someone.
