Hi everyone, I just downloaded Counter-stike:GO and i have a intel mobo D945GCCR 775 socket DDR2 memory, CPU: Intel pentium D 2.9 gHz, GPU Intel family chipset 945g 128 mb, RAM: 512 RAM.
I want to upgrade my pc to CPU: Intel core 2 duo e4700, RAM: 4 GB DDR2.

Can i fit a DDR3 GPU?, if yes please provide me a list of it. And can i run it, if yes what fps on low?

Thanks in advance.

owww no you can't run it with your current specs unless the game is crazy optimized, and your upgrade will not be enough, i would save up to buy a new motherboard for a new CPU such as an i5 and a RAM with DDR3 and 1333 MHz at least....and also to be able to upgrade GPU, and if you want to save money i suggest changing to AMD when you have the money...

Thanks for the speedy reply :)

so, you mean that core 2 duo e4700 is useless? oh ok then. And for the AMD what would you suggest me for it?

If low on budget i would get an fx 6xxx (any fx starting with a 6 that is cheap lol) but if you have money to spend i would stick with Intel and buy an i5, it's all about ca$h these days :/  if going for AMD any motherboard with AM3+ socket and an fx 6300 for example should suffice....but as i said before you have to tell me how much money are you willing to spend so i can give you a solid answer

Maximum $200 for the whole thing.
