Hello everybody. I am planning to buy a Samsung 840 evo SSD, but i don't know how the migrating software works. I looked up on youtube but it's not very clear. After i have migrated all data on my ssd , the software would have automaticaly deleted my old HDD ? Could you explain this issue with this migration and if I should install the os again on the new ssd ? Thank you very much.

Solution
the best idea to gain optimal speed from your OS is to reinstall it again on SSD. With migration of Windows OS, you can come across speed loss, sometimes windows will not work correctly, etc. Best recommended solution to install Windows again on your SSD for optimal performance and backup rest of the data somewhere safe.

I purchased a SSD with my laptop. When I purchased the SSD i got the kit. The Kit was the SSD, Acronis True image software and a External HD case with USB connection. I cloned the HD that was in the 1st drive bay to the SSD then I moved the HD to the 2nd bay. The drive was a week old.
