Another 4gb vs 2gb 770 question.

well here's another 2gb vs 4 gb thread.
I'm form the Philippine I have a question for you guys. I just got a 770 GTX 2gb this month and I just discovered that some games are using more than 2gb.
Like bf4 in a 64 man server, Skyrim with mods, the upcoming Star citizen and watch dogs. I think i made a bad choice.
Should I sell this gpu and get the 4gb version or keep it? I feel I wasted some cash on something that will go out of date in less that a year and a half.

4gb version is for heavy mods and for dual or triple monitors. but other than that 2gb and 4gb is the same. but for more stuff to games the 4gb version is good.

It's unlikely that you will max out the memory on your VGA before its becomes obsolete.
If you do, it's probably because you tried hard.
Keep the 2GB, it will serve you well.

If you need 4GB i'd go directly to Radeon R9 290. In my country its cheaper than GTX 780 and faster.

It is enough if you don't plan to go ultra setting in the game. Furthermore , keep it and use it meanwhile the 680 is also similar to the 770 tho haha

not worth doing that. like mentioned getting a gtx 780 is better.

When is the 290 faster than the 780? I have yet to see real benchmarks show this as all benchmarks I see the 780 wins...

Id like to get the 290 but psu my is only rated for 620 watts.
780 is kinda expensive at $175 more. maybe is should go with the 780?

if you're worried about the money get the r9 290. if you dont care what to spend on the gtx 780 is the better choice.

4gb is if want to play on more than 1080p or if you have really heavy mods, so you would be fine if you go for the 2 gb version
