So I bought this combination for my first build, and apparently the 212 EVO and Rosewill Blackhawk don't play well together.

The problem I'm reading about is the 212 is too tall for the case (haven't gotten my parts yet to confirm).

My question is, should I get a new case, or use the stop cpu fan (i5 4670k) and keep the case and get a different cooler?

I'm new to this so forgive and naivety.

Thanks!

Solution
It just leaves the ventilated part on the side panel without a fan. I don't think a low-profile fan will fit, and wouldn't really add anything, as the top of the cooler would block most of the airflow anyway.

Ok, so you think that's a good enough solution as opposed to just replacing one of the two parts?

So does that leave a hole on the case where the side fan would be
or maybe I could buy a slim profile fan?

Thanks HiTech.

Just one last time to confirm, losing this side panel fan won't cause any issues for me cooling wise? This is my first build, so thanks for dealing with all my questions!

Yeah It has 5 fans total (4 for me!) Thanks a lot for your help. I may explore a different fan at some point, I'm looking at Nocturnas, but for now I will go with the Evo and removing the side panel fan.

Again, Many Thanks!
