Hello Everyone after a discussion here in Tom's I came to a conclusion to buy a Sapphire Ati Radeon 7770 ghz Edition. Can Anyone suggest if its a good idea. I am getting this card for a really good price.

I want to know how this performs with mmorpgs.

And if possible about the crossfire.

The addition of that card will increase performance on your machine I am confident, you may even be able to enable dual graphics on that card with your APU (A10-5800k). I would say that your motherboard / CPU combo are pretty good. You can run up to 1866mhz RAM but the faster RAM benefit is lost a bit when moving away from onboard graphics processing. I think (although not a performance upgrade) that a replacement quality power supply would be a good upgrade for your machine. It sounds like that one came with the case and in general they are of relatively low quality.

It's a good idea in that the Radeon 7770 is arguably the best graphics card you can buy at that particular price point. So yes it is a good buy for sure, especially if you can get a deal on it. Most MMORPG's are generally more CPU intensive than GPU intensive and are often built on older graphics engines so the 7770 should perform well in these types of games.

That's is a really quick response !!..

Msi fm2 a85 board (not sure 55 or 75 or 85)
8Gb transcend 1666mhz ram
450 psu

Would my psu be able handle the 7770 card without any issues ?.

Hey Poporin I just fetched out my complete config from my first post in Tom's

Configuration:
Processor: AMD A10 5800k
MoBo: MSI Fm2A85x-p33
RAM: 8GB 1600Mhz Transcend RAM
Cabinet: Iball Cabinet with 450W power supply and additional cooling fan.

I wanted to know if there are any draw backs in the build or any changes to be made to enhance its performance.

Games i have tested till now are Warframe(Online TPS),Raiderz (MMORPG), Remember me (TPS), Batman Arkham City (High), Assassins Creed 3 (High), Aliens Rage (Medium High)
All the games listed above have run smoothly in the mentioned settings.. is there any way to enhance the performance than this ?..

The above was the situation without the 7770 added to the machine. Now would the config be enough for 7770 HD or Do I have to change/upgrade the PSU to 500W ?

I might also test te crossfire tech since its AMD card

I just built my cousin a build with the 7770 and was surprised.

He has a fx 4130 and a msi hd 7770

he can run battlefield at 1080p with a mix of medium and high settings (which still makes battlefield look really good).

Its about the best card you can get for the money.
