I have an ASUS RT-AC68U configured as an access point to our corporate network. Firmware is Version 3.0.0.4.374.5047. I am using WPA2 Enterprise. Microsoft radius server is set up and working correctly. I can connect with any laptop. My issue lies with cell phones. They will not connect. They see the SSID's. They don't even show up in the logs. Am I missing a setting somewhere?

I was avoiding posting on this hoping he would get an answer more knowledgeable than mine but to avoid this getting off track I will post the little I know.

He wants to use the phone as a client to the router so the PC will not see the phone since they are both clients. He says the phone sees the router it just does not connect.

What we have seen is there are many variations of android and they all a little different. Some you must force to use 802.1x in a setting. Some older version do not have the support and you must install it. Hard to say most times I just keep messing with the settings until I get it to work.

The things I know for sure that break it is if the WPA is setup to use certificates. It maybe be possible to put a certificate on the phone but I have not bother to try real hard.

Not a lot of help I suspect but it at least will bump this to the top and maybe a phone guy will see this.

bill001g is correct. The phone is a client to the ASUS. Strangely enough it connected once today but lost the connection about an hour later. Then it couldn't reconnect. The phone is an HTC One Plus running Android 4.1.1. It does report the SSID as 802.1x EAP. I have it configured for PEAP, mschapv2 and creds are domain name\user name with correct password. Just like the laptops. When it did connect I did get a log entry on the radius server. Weird...
