Im having low fps in every game I play, like Mount & Blade, Battlefield 2 the 2005 one, World of Tanks, Rome Total War, Skyrim basically almost every GPU intensive game, the only ones im able to play relatively smoothly are CPU intensive ones ironically, like Hearts of Iron 3/2, Europa Universalis IV and all that.

Here is my 3D Mark 11 score

Thank you.

Solution
I havent played that game, but it might be... or the gpu... hard to say without experience of that game.
You could monitor the graphics card with GPU-Z, if the load on it isn't very high (98-100%) then the cpu is holding it back in that game

Does the FPS alter when you lower the graphics quality settings?

Check that both the CPU and GPU are running at the correct speed when in game. Also check the utilization of both CPU and GPU in game.

Ok so this second time around how about telling us what res are you trying run at?

Did you consider that by overclocking using MSI afterburner, you might be causing the card to throttle, and limit the frame rate

Just how full is that 160GB drive? That drive SATA II drive but is 7200 rpm is the BIOS setting correct?

In fact I did set bios to default
Is that what's wrong?
Thanks guys.

Splendid
your cpu seems to be stuck at really low clocks... like idle.. it should clock up to 2.9GHz under load and not 1.6GHz...

edit check the bios that the cpu is set up correctly, like fsb and multiplier

yeah, it is stuck at idle speeds... not sure what is causing it however.. :( check the bios..
and it seems the game isnt multithreaded, so a single work thread is being moved between the 2 cores by windows (as the sum for the load percentages rarely goes over 100%). You could open task manager when the game is running and set the affinity of the game proces to single core (right click on the process), the graph would look different then as the other core would remain mostly loadless. Most likely this wont solve your problem however...
