I was browsing around today and saw this. An unlocked Pentium? :heink:  Broadwell with have Iris Pro graphics. Never heard of Devils Canyon before. I guess the new Extreme Edition chip will be Haswell-E?

ye, the unlocked pentium gonna be a beast for the price.
Irisi pro will be a truly upgrade from HD4600.

And the 8-core would mostlikely be the 5960x(?) and priced at $1000.

Intel is pushing out something interesting, hopefully AMD give them a fight on the IGP.

I think if Globalfoundries can get their act together, AMD can produce something to compete with. Until AMD can get on a smaller node, they are kind of at a roadblock of sorts. I must admit, I am kinda interested in the unlocked Pentium as well for a budget solution.

Can't wait to see how far those devil's canyon chips are gonna be clocked, if the TIM truly is better. :D

The unlocked Pentium, I suspect, will make the 750k/760k pointless for anyone, if they price them right.
