So i'm going to be building a new pc, in the next week or so.

These are the parts at the moment. (I already have: HDD, CASE, CD-DRIVE, OS.)
I have about £520 to spend on the rest of the parts. I would prefer them all from the same
place unless it saves me a considerable amount of money.

Ebuyer:
FX-8350
ASUS M5A97 R2.0
POWERCOLOUR R9 280X 3GB
KINGSTON 8GB 1600MHZ
COOLERMASTER GM550W SEMI-MODULAR

Any parts you recommend? Any improvements? Cheers.

get a 990 based motherboard for that cpu, otherwise it all looks good.

remember when installing new hardware you may have to just wipe your OS in order to install new drivers (obviously try other methods such as driversweeper and installing the current drivers for your hardware first)

I wouldn't recommend you to use R9 280X on 550W PSU

Look at these parts

What will a 990 board give me that this doesn't? Thanks.

Okay, but will this mobo not give me any overclocking options? I will not overclock straight away and is not something I see myself doing until I feel the cpu becomes slow.

You should be able to OC a bit with the M5A97.
