The temperature depends on the environment you run it in.

I had instabilities with the stock cooler in my home office, which can hit 80 deg F in summer time.

I highly recommend an after market cooler. Even a cheap $20 one will do quite well at stock speeds.

Can you please tell me the temps you get with this CPU on IDLE and while playing a game ?
i have the same CPU and same cooler , and i have high temps. i would like to compare them..

Use a monitoring progrm like HWmonitor to let us know your current temps... but to answer your question, you dont NEED a aftermarket cooler.. but its definately a good idea as most stock coolers wear down quickly. Keep in mind, the better cooling on your CPU over time, will allow for longer lifespan and better performance down the road.
