Hi guys,

Im looking for advice on which GPU to get with a new gaming pc build. The main components are as follows:

i5-4670K @ 4.0 GHz
8 GB RAM
125 GB SSD
1TB HDD
600W PSU
Water Cooled

Now, the price varies on which GPU I select (Which is where you guys come in!). Bear in mind I would like to play on Ultra settings at 1920 x 1200. I will mainly be playing WoW, ESO, BF4 and Star Citizen. So, here we go:

With MSI 2GB GTX 760 Twin Frozor = £821
With MSI 2GB GTX 770 Twin Frozor = £871
With 4 GB R9 270X Twin Frozor = £793
With 3GB R9 280X Twin Frozor = £850
With 3GB R9 280X DD Black = £868
With 4GB R9 290 = £960

I am currently leaning towards the R9 280X but I would like your advice on the best bang for my buck.

Thanks for any help you can provide!

Either the 770 or the 290. For the money the 770 is in a class of it's own. You could go with the 290 Which is better, but your return on performance for the money spent isn't going to be as good. I have almost the same PC as you with a gtx 770 and it plays bf4 on ultra without breaking a sweat.

The 770 would be a lot better since it generally has better built-in cooling/better temperatures.
