Help with 1000€ pc build

get a z87 motherboard (this is the most important part that needs to be changed) and i'd suggest at least a $30 cpu cooler, otherwise getting the k version is kinda silly if you arent going to get a noticable overclock out of it.

otherwise everything else is great and will be great for gaming and all manner of other things

Well first off that extra fan is trash and no better than the stock fan. Second, PNY SSDs are not that great - the only redeeming quality they have is the price. And Corsair CX power supplies you should avoid entirely. What country are you buying parts from? If you post that it will help to suggest a better rig. If you don't know one this thread will point you in the right direction: http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/id-1643019/guide-international-users-links-part-stores.html

I'm from Ireland but as everything's a ripoff here I'll be buying mainly from UK (Novatech, Overclockers, etc.)

OK then something like this would work. You also shouldn't pair a 4670K with a B85 motherboard since B85 doesn't allow for overclocking.

Try this:

That will be a much wiser use of your budget.

He does need a keyboard, mouse, and 1080p monitor in his budget.
