Hiya gang

I've got a box that recently had some issues, replaced the ASUS P8Z68-VPRO motherboard and powersupply, and the OS boots but the RAID 1 is not accessible in server 2008.

I've got the SATA set to RAID in the bios, and the RAID utility shows the RAID as there and working, but when windows boots it tells me the drives are not accessible.

Any thoughts?

Tom

yep. same P/S too. we had ordered spare parts when we had it built.

I can't even do much in windows, as the tech who did the original install split some of the OS data between the main SSD drive and the RAID.

since the drives were untouched, the drivers should already have been on them. Only thing i've thought so far were and firmware or bios updates, but i brought the bios up to the same level the old one was...

you know, it's entirely possible i suffer from some sort of mental deficiency. It's not the RAID, it was some corrupt user profiles making me thing the drives were bad.

well that was a waste of several hours of my life....

Sad part is you can't get them back :( even though you learned something :)
