recommended ram for gpu

hi everyone, i am thinking of buying a new graphics card gtx 770 4gb. i read that the required ram for 2gb gpu is 8gb ram. i have 1X4gb ram. how much more ram do i need for highly demanding games like bf4,watch dogs,COD ghosts
my specs
intel i5 2400
intel dh67vr
ram 1X4gb 1333Mhz

You'll want at least 6gb of ram, probably more like 8-12gb. It's a cheap upgrade and aside from a SSD, it's one of the best you can do. It'll help you leave your internet window open and all of your background programs running while you're gaming. Yes, I know most games have a recommended 4gb, or whatever, but that is only to run their game and nothing else.
