I'm looking to build a gaming/ video editing rig. I've been running FSX on a laptop and it's less than optimal so I've decided it's worth the money and effort to build my own. I'll be purchasing within the next week or so and am relatively new to this so I've tried to do my research and compile components here:
http://secure.newegg.com/WishList/PublicWishDetail.aspx?WishListNumber=22129811.

I'm looking to stay under 1200 if I can but there's a little wiggle room.

Any swaps/upgrades or info is greatly appreciated!

I Add almost the same pieces but i change the GTX660 with GTX760 the Case ( its equal good with 18cm-20cm Air Cooling system ) and i add an aftermarket CPU Cooler for better OC. I Also change the mobo with a good one too, to save some money.
And with 150$+ budget left for extras.

Hello man

Honorable

Go for the 660TI, the added cores are a large gain. For the processor, go for the processor with the highest FLOPS available (Floating Point Operations per Second). Video editing needs lots of capacity for calculations per second. Unless you plan on OC, you can ditch the unlocked CPU and save some cash.
