Considering this as a new gaming pc build, any suggestions? (£1130 Build)

Hello everybody,

I'm seriously considering buying this build tonight, does anybody have any suggestions on how I could improve it?

great build, but i would suggest you go with intel i5 4670k, you will get better performance.

first one i start from bottom up. i never use wirelesses for my needs just connect smartphone which i dont have it anymore:) second i go at least with Geforce 780 and Gygabite mobo and Intel i7.:)

The the same money, get a XFX 550w/650w PSU... They are much better than the OCZ one you posted. With that CPU cooler you can get similar/performance to I5/I7 is games that use all the threads such as BF3/BF4 and Watch Dogs if you overclock to 4.4-4.5Ghz... for this you will need to buy a second fan and run push/pull on the Evo...

EDIT - You also don't need to go higher than a 280x/GTX 770 for casual gaming at 1920x1080

no need for i7 for gaming, its a waste of money. gigabyte, asus, msi, and asrock make great boards, any of those is totally fine. and for the video card, the 780 is only 5-10% faster. many people need wireless internet, not every1 has an ethernet cable in every room.

Your statement is true. In most games the I5 and I7 are indeed very close. But please, learn to read. He said he doesn't need a wireless card because he uses his SMARTPHONE to connect to the internet which means he doesn't need an ETHERNET CABLE either.

yes i did read, and its fine that he used his phone, but it came off like he was suggesting not to get a wifi card.
