I just bought this motherboard and i have a question...i was reading this morning about the bios update...what does that do,how does it improve the pc and how do i do it(if it is worth it).

The BIOS controls are the components on your mobo and compatibility with various add on components....While you can look at the available BIOS updates available, all you generally need is the latest, it will include updates from previous versions of updates. You also might notice that they might list 1 or 2 things as being in the update....however, most ALL BIOS updates are full of improvements, notably in about every BIOS update are many, many updates for DRAM (because of the abundance of DRAM available). There used to be a stigma about updating the BIOS but these days it's pretty idiot proof and safe, I generally always update the BIOS on new mobos as soon as I get them and when rigs come in for repairs/upgrades, same thing, the BIOS upgrade is the first thing I do (followed by mobo drivers and drivers for add ons
