Good day, I need to replace my Gainward GTX 760 Phantom due to faulty(probably) and it's out of stock.
As for the replacement, I'm considering to get MSI GTX 770 OC and I wonder if my PSU can handle it or should I just go with MSI/Gigabyte GTX 760 OC? (This is the only relevant range cards available for now)

This thread is the follow up to this thread: http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/answers/id-2066832/gainward-gtx-760-phantom-tonnes-crash-desktop-playing-dx11-games.html
Will the problem from that thread will be solved if I change the GPU?

Spec:
ASUS B85M-G
Intel i5-4440 3.10 GHz
Cooler Master X6 CPU Cooler
Apacer 8GB 1600MHz Ram
Corsair VS550
2xRegular SATA HDD
BitFenix Outlaw Casing with 4x120mm Fans

I appreciate any help that I could get. I'm sorry if my English is not good...

I'm sorry but what does "add 60w to 70w more" means? If you means by adding it to my old spec with GTX 760 system power, system power should be around 450W, is it close to the limit already?

I'm just curious since some website(game-debate.com) recommend 550w PSU with 38Amps for GTX 770 and my PSU is 550w with 42amps if I'm not mistaken.

Thank you for your reply!

I might change my PSU to FSP Raider 650W later in the future so I'm wondering how long will my current PSU able to withstand GTX 770? Will my PSU handle it safely?

That XFX XTR 650W is quite over budget and it is also not available in my place.

Well, I'll probably goes with GTX 770 and hope that my VS550 will not explode or something...

Thanks again
