Hey, Im building my own pc and am just left with the GPU. I have an AMD A10 quad core 3.8 ghz, and wondering what GPU i should get? i want to play dayz standalone on full so would I have to go with the nvidia 760? Would i be bottlenecking as i realize my cpu isnt the best? would i be fine with most games? or should i stick with integrated graphics? and what fps would i be getting if i went with and without the 760?
Bottle-necking and Nvidia help!

You CPU shouldn't be too bad depending on which A10 should be a quad core piledriver CPU but if it is an older bulldozer that's not so good. Do you know the exact model?

the 760 will probly be the best you can go without bottlenecking, and should run at high-very high settings.

with that cpu a gtx 760 would be good. a gtx 770 would do a slight bottleneck. with a little overclock on the cpu you're fine .

when overclocking your cpu you get more speed out of it. it may need a decent aftermarket cooler and a sufficient power supply and a great mobo. what basically you're doing is increasing the cpu's speed to make it run faster and make games run smoother. now not all cpu's need this unless you're at a really low cpu speed. ex.2Ghz. when overclocking your cpu not only you're overclocking it but the rams bus speed increases too. which needs slightly more power. hope this helps.

the ram speed only happens if you OC by raising the fsb, and you can just lower the speed of the ram back down to where you want it.

well, with the stock cooler i wouldnt expect being able to OC so much you get 40 more fps... with stock cooler +20 fps is more realistic.
