Which RAM is better for gaming and why?

Vengeance® Low Profile — 8GB Dual Channel DDR3 Memory Kit
8GB Kit (2 x 4GB), 1600Mhz, 9-9-9-24
or
8GB Kit (2 x 4GB), 1866Mhz, 9-10-9-27

More about : ram gaming

There's relatively little difference between the two when it comes to gaming*, but the kit running at 1866Mhz is the better of the two. This is because of the increased speed (1866 as opposed to 1600), which is more than enough to offset the slightly looser timings (the 9-10-9-27 part). But really, the difference in the vast majority of games will be negligible.

*I'm talking about gaming with a discrete GPU here. Integrated graphics are a whole different kettle of fish, and benefit considerably from faster RAM.

The price will be most probably, very different, get the 1600 MHz unless the price difference is negligible

8GB Kit (2 x 4GB), 1866Mhz, 9-10-9-27 would be better assuming your mobo supports higher than 1600mhz. prices are roughly the same on such ram specs , so getting the faster should be prefered!
