I'm looking for a £500 gaming desktop but am a bit confused about the apu gpu etc.
can you uses pc specialist .com to find a good PC desktop no more than £550 thanks.
Btw should be able to play games like bf4 at medium high and last for 2 years.

Solution
I3 with 2 cores and 4 threads beats AMD FX 6300 with 3 modules and 6 threads (some classify 6300 as 6 cored) in gaming. It is not only about how many cores it has. It is about how powerful they are.
