PC Build for gaming and £D animation/CGI/Visual affects for £1k

Hi first time building a pc for my son for Gaming and learning 3D animation/CGI & visual effects using Maya, Blender, 3dsmax & after affects etc. Not sure what motherboard/memory combination would be best is the following any good? any improvements but keeping to a budget of £1000? Not going to be over clocking yet but maybe in the future! He already has a case (Aerocool X-Predator Evil Full Tower)

    I'd start out from here- main difference is the graphics card, i stuck with high end components and a better graphics card.
