I was wondering if the dual core processor is good enough if I'm planning on playing games like skyrim on ultra.

Nothing its just the one i am quoting is made by the same company, has the same energy rating, and has 530 on the 12 rail for 15 less than what you are paying for yours.

Replaced the 750 ti with the less expensive, but faster 260X
replaced the I3 with AMD 6 core cpu, a touch slower than the i3 in single threads (basically 1 - 3 fps slower with the same gpu) , but faster in mutithreaded apps
