I agree, go with the ASUS GTX 760 DCUII http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00DBPKEOI though. The DCUII has a great custom PCB with amazing VRM cooling and the DCUII is the coolest and quietest cooler on the market.

plus my power supply is 600w if that is good enoguh look at my pcs specs here http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=c03...

Yup I checked your specs with some Google-fu, your PSU will be fine, it has the necessary power plugs for the card and everything. Most 760s aren't any longer than you average motherboard, so if your mobo fits, the card will :-) GuatoNoP01's suggestion of the ASUS card would work great as well btw, it is a nice card. I have an EVGA card and tend to suggest them because I've had great experience with them, and I really like the look and performance of their ACX cooling system :-)

Installing is pretty straight forward. There are plenty of guides and tutorials on the web, just do a web search and watch some vids to see if you would be comfortable tackling it. You'll basically delete your old software and drivers, anything to do with AMD basically since you are going from AMD to Nvidia. Shutdown, unplug everything from the back of your PC, remove old card, put the new one in its place, make sure PCIe plugs from your power supply is plugged into the card, close up, plug everything back in, restart, and run the installation CD that comes with your new card :-) Shouldn't take longer than 10 -15 mins to get through at the most. Just take care to be gentle and not force anything.
