Definitely, you can run 4 monitors off the card at the same time. Depending on the monitors you may need some adapters for various connection types but otherwise certainly.

No you just can't do that.The 780 has a display port,two dvis and one hdmi and they are delivered by display port adapter,dvi-vga adapter and hdmi cable so it all adds up to make 4 displays and on 4 different ports
