I personally like the Apple keyboard for gaming. Most laptop have it these days. They are faster to bounce back up and doesn't click as loud as the mechanical ones. Mechanicals, to me, feel like a bit sticky, easier to jam, and harder to bounce back.
Er, what you're describing is any membrane/chicklet keyboard (which includes apple), not a mechanical type. Mechanical keyboards are completely the opposite.
As for the OP's original question...I don't really know of a reputable brand with a mechanical keyboard under $70. Usually you have to spend at least $80 before tax/shipping. Razer offers their tournament edition black widow (no numkey area) for $80. Otherwise their regular blackwidow (blackwidow = cherry mx blues) is $100. You could try checking newegg - I saw a few Rosewill models around your budget, but they look pretty bad. There's a Tt esports poseidon keyboard (mx blues) that I've never heard of before, but it's got decent reviews and is $80.
Corsair makes some pretty good mechanical keyboards, but those are pretty expensive =/
I would check newegg.com if you think you'd be shopping from there, or amazon.
