Hey guys so while playing Guildwars 2 or basically any game my screen just goes black and it makes weird noises (from the gpu i think).
At the bottom left of my screen it says "display driver has stopped and has recovered" i dont know what it means but im trying to play agame on my computer and it keeps disconnecting me from the game and its really fustrating.
I have tried updating my drivers and reinstalled windows to make sure it's not caused by a virus.
What could cause it? this is a brand new gaming system so I don't really understand why it does this.
Also my connection from monitor to PC is through HDMI.
Here are my PC specs if they help:
GTX 780 Gigabyte 3 GB DDR5 (GHZ edition)
I7 4770K 3.5 GHZ
2x8 GB Kingston Hyper Blue
700W modular PSU Super flower Golden
Z87 Sniper Mobo
However I don't think it has any connection with the parts except for my video card since it says those drivers have frozen also when I first booted my PC my screen was oversacaling and I had to resize it using my Nvidia tools could that be a problem? Current res 1842x1036
