Basically the other day, my PSU died...and I as i was checking to see if it was my PSU or mobo....I was disconcerting my PSU to hook up another one i accidentally pulled of the 6pin cable to hard....that when it came out i accidentally may have pushed off this plastic grill thing on my mobo....

GA-78LMT-USB3 (rev. 5.0)

on top of where the cpu would go is where the 6pin ATX 12v connection is at where i pulled it too fast, and the grey plastic grill thing is what i sorta pulled off, its not really broken...it just feels slightly loose. I'm not touching it anymore im afraid of actually snapping it right off....

So what is that thing for? is it ok if connected but a little lose? is it just for decorations?
What can I do to fix it?
Do I have to replace it?
Or can i just fix this by adding a fan to my case? Currently have no extra fans, just the one on my cpu heatsink, my EVGA 650 ti boost has its own fan....and my PSU (getting it back through warranty) has a 120mm fan.

Mobo: GA-78LMT-USB3 (rev. 5.0)
CPU: AMD FX-6350
Graphics Card: EVGA GTX 650 TI BOOST 2GB
PSU: Actek Blazar 700w
Ram: 8Gbs
Case: Actek Akron Mid tower

So it is just for looks right? I got my PSU back, and I ran some games...nothing bad happened...actually noticed the new PSU actually did improve my GPU temps...which is great..

Used to get to 90c now its at max 75c...that PSU was faulty as hell then :V, I remeber feeling the top of my case...and it was HOT as hell...now its just warm...

I still havent tested bf4 which is probably the hardest graphics game i have..
