I just got it and has been working grand until I was on fb and it turned itself off and has yet to come back on. I have tried unplugging it and holding the button down to no prevail, please help me;'(

Give it a while to cool off and see if it starts to work. Come back in one hour if it still won't work. If it does turn on, download HWMonitor and start to monitor your temps. Also is this a desktop or a laptop? Can you give me the exact specs?

I have let it cool down all night, and it is a laptop. To be honest honest my aunt got it like a month ago but I have only had it a couple days. She lives out of state and came for my birthday three days ago.

Are you sure the power adapter is working? Can you borrow some other power cable from somewhere? Yours might have failed and the battery may have run out.
