My old laptop gave up the ghost. I have just got a new laptop and I am trying to recover my old data. I got a USB IDE SATE Cable. I have plugged this in to my old harddrive and laptop. In the device manager is shows its there but I cant access it.
Can anyone help or Point me in the direction of some software? I am running windows 8.
I assumed I could be able to just plug it in an pull files.
