Hello, how are you? Well when you connect the graphic card are you getting no display whatsoever, if you are not getting any kind of display than your graphic card might be dead or as to say DOA. Can you try another graphic card in your motherboard just to be sure that your Pci-e slot isn't faulty too. Be sure to reply back here.

Hello thank you for responding so fast, yeah i have a HD AMD 7xxx series that came with the computer that runs games fine on low settings and a motherboard card built in which is an Intel HD 4000, upgrading to the GTX 760 4gb oc version also my computer is a hp p6-2171a it has a i7 core @ 3.40ghz, 2 8gb DDR3 ram @ 66mhz, my motherboard is a Foxconn 2ADA (CPU 1), and an acer screen it can't be another DOA card i only just sent back a HD 7970 for being DOA they gave me a refund to buy another card so i chose nvidia because of the AMD card being DOA it took months to get this one back i hope i don't have to this one back as well. :(

Thanks, but i don't see how it is my motherboard problem when the HD 7xxx works and i have had the AMD 7970 worked when i had it but i think the end got scratched from taking it out also i forgot to add the nvidia done a system check on my computer and said that my system was still picking up the integrated graphic card even when the nvidia one is installed i sure it's just a piece of software conflicting the system to not show or pick up the Nvidia card cause it's still trying to detect the amd card or well one of them but i also done a full amd driver wipe and still nothing and i do have another computer but the case is to small to fit the card in also it's 4-5 years old. Here is a link to the computer when i brought it - http://h20566.www2.hp.com/portal/site/hpsc/template.PAGE/public/kb/docDisplay?javax.portlet.begCacheTok=com.vignette.cachetoken&javax.portlet.endCacheTok=com.vignette.cachetoken&javax.portlet.prp_ba847bafb2a2d782fcbb0710b053ce01=wsrp-navigationalState%3DdocId%253Demr_na-c03288841-17%257CdocLocale%253D%257CcalledBy%253D&javax.portlet.tpst=ba847bafb2a2d782fcbb0710b053ce01&sp4ts.oid=5187028&ac.admitted=1397574098998.876444892.199480143

i have added to it a corsair 860 power supply, 2 8gb ram and now trying to install this graphic card if that helps anymore also a new cougar case for airflow.

No if you put your graphic card in it will give you display but the name will appear like Basic Display driver or something like that or even the graphic card name but the resolution would be very crappy, after you install the driver and restart your resolution will turn to normal.

Hey sorry it took me so long to reply, had things to do. umm when i put the Nvidia graphic card in it shows no display i tried to install the Nvidia driver in safe mode but it's still saying can't find compatible hardware something like that anyway i have tired the amd wipe to get everything amd of my computer but still the Nvidia graphic card shows no signal i have payed over $400 for this card and haven't been able to use it Nvidia told me to go find a local tech to install it but i don't want to spend anymore money please anything that i could do to get a signal when the Nvidia graphic card is in so i can install the driver well that's what Nvidia said to do with there cards.

Well i have a Intel HD 4000 onboard card but that's disable by my AMD HD 7950 that's what i got in the computer when i pre-brought it that one works fine plays games well it's detects it just fine the problem is i have never used a Nvidia card with this mother board before so it's strange that it's not working but yes there is no display on the screen when the DVI is plugged in to the Nvidia i have tried a bunch of different things to get it to work turned the onboard graphic card off manually, have tried letting the computer turn it off but yet no display before i got this card i had a AMD 7970 it worked fine with the new AC black flag on high everything but it broke about a week later because of not enough airflow since than i have brought this new GTX 760 4GB oc and a new case but i can't get it to work.

Yeah the AMD HD 7450 which is in my computer now it works fine, oh really because i told Nvidia and they said to take it to a local tech and have a look why the motherboard isn't detecting the graphic card after i done a system check and sent it to them but if that is the case i guess i have to clam warranty on it and get a new one, enougher 3 months till i get it :(
