Hey, I am having a little trouble here. So my old processor in my laptop is an A4-3305m, and I bought a slightly better A6-4400m as an upgrade (yes, I know there are tons of better processors out there, but I got this at a great price)
So I take apart my laptop, install the A6, and put everything together again and when I boot the computer up, it turns on with a black screen and even after connecting it to a tv via hdmi, I still get nothing.
A little google searching and figure out I probably should update my bios if I want it to work, so I put my old processor back in.
Now, my current BIOS is from 11/25/2011
I went to the asus support site and looked up my computer for updates.
I found a BIOS update from 2012.05.18 as the latest, and an AMD Chipset driver from 2011.12.29.
I know the A6 came out in '12, but will these update be late enough for this thing to run? If not, is there any other BIOS version that is newer that can run on my ASUS K53Z?
Much Thanks
