CPU Cooler in a Corsair 300r

Hey guys,

I'm planning to purchase a be quiet! cooler, however I'm not sure it would fit.

I'm planning on getting the Shadow Rock Pro SR1, however I've heard it can block airflow so should i get the Shadow Rock SR1 Topflow.

Any help will be appreciated, thanks in advance.

The 300R is pretty narrow. So you won't fit a very tall CPU cooler.

You might need one like the Noctua: http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=207_23&products_id=12956

or if you can afford it, water cooling.

You need to find out the height of the cooler that will fit in the 300R and check that whatever you use will fit. Then buy a good one within your budget.

Do what I do - Google it. I usually use Australian sources for prices, because that's where I am.

I disagree. That case is pretty wide, 8.3" (211 cm). It could even fit my Noctua NH D14.
