Hi there, I'm new here and not really an expert so I hope you guys can help me!
My problem:
Yesterday I turned off my PC and plugged all the cables out because I was ''re-decorating'' my room. After plugging everything in again and turning it on, my monitor kept saying: DVI no input. I tried the HDMI/VGA inputs, still nothing.

When I unplugged my GPU, my screen started working and everything went allright.
I'm guessing the problem is in my GPU, but I don't know for sure. When I unplug it, of course it doesn't show in the Display Adapters. But when I do plug in it, my monitor doesn't work.

I tried installing the drivers with that Catalyst Centre, but still no good. After reboot, still no response from my screen when the GPU is plugged in.

Hope I've given enough info and you guys can help me :)
Thanks in advance!

I have tried that, but the GPU still doesn't show up under Display Adapters. Thats a sign that it doesn't recognize it right?

Yeah it probably is. Try going in BIOS and set the primary display to PCI Express or PEG. Then after PC restarts plug the monitor into GPU. Hope it works.

Well, here's the problem with that. How do I do that?
This is my BIOS where I can find the PEG stats:
7I79M1S

I have not used ASUS UFEI bios in a while so can't remember.Just surf around like webpages is not so tough.
There will be of course some option like Primary Display Adapter of alike.

If you can't find just go to Asus website and download the user manual of your motherboard Z-87 G45.
